We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you interact with chatbots powered by FlowAgently.

Information we collect

When you use a chatbot powered by FlowAgently, we collect:

  • Chat content you send to the bot, including prompts and feedback, and any information you choose to share during conversations.
  • Technical information such as device, browser, and interactions necessary to provide the service.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver AI-generated responses to your questions, improve chatbot accuracy and performance, and ensure the chat experience functions properly.
  • Secure our service, prevent abuse, debug technical issues, and comply with legal obligations.

Sensitive information

Do not submit sensitive personal information in the chat interface (for example, passwords, government IDs, payment card numbers, health data, or other confidential information). The chat is designed for general assistance and product support only.

Analytics

We use minimal analytics to understand how our service is used and to improve functionality:

  • When our widget is installed on websites, we measure operational analytics such as message counts, latency, and error rates necessary to deliver and improve the service.
  • We do not track interactions with bots shown on demo pages where no user ID is associated.

We do not use marketing trackers.

Storage and retention

We store data in our application databases (e.g., Supabase). We retain conversation logs as determined by the chatbot owner's retention settings or as necessary to improve service quality. We retain all data only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.

Cookies and local storage

When you interact with embedded chatbots, we (FlowAgently) do not store cookies on the website you are visiting. Cookies are only used when you directly access flowagently.com or any of our subdomains. For embedded chat widgets, we only use localStorage to enhance your experience:

  • Remembering whether the chat widget is open or closed
  • Saving conversation state

localStorage data stays in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

Data processors

We use trusted service providers to host and process data. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

  • Supabase (authentication, database, and storage) - May store conversation logs.
  • OpenAI (model inference) - Chat prompts and relevant context may be sent to OpenAI API to generate chatbot responses and deliver the service. OpenAI does not use API data to train their models by default.
  • Google (Gemini) (model inference) - Chat prompts and relevant context may be sent to Google APIs to generate chatbot responses and deliver the service.

We reserve the right to change, add, or remove data processors without prior notice as necessary to operate and improve our service.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You should contact the website owner where the chatbot is embedded, or contact us directly for assistance. To exercise these rights, contact us.

Agreement

By interacting with chatbots powered by FlowAgently on third-party websites, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the chatbot.

Subprocessors

We use third-party providers to operate the service, including Supabase (authentication, storage), OpenAI (model inference for chatbot responses), and Google (Gemini) (model inference for chatbot responses). By using the chatbot, you authorize us to use these providers to process your messages and deliver AI-generated responses.

Acceptable use

You agree to use our service responsibly:

  • No unlawful, harmful, or abusive behavior.
  • No attempts to reverse engineer or disrupt the service.
  • Do not submit sensitive personal data in conversations unless necessary.

AI outputs

AI-generated responses may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading.

AI-generated content does not constitute legally binding commitments, contracts, agreements, professional advice (including legal, medical, financial, or other professional guidance), or any form of guarantee. We expressly disclaim any liability for decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated content.

You are responsible for verifying all information before acting on it and should not treat AI responses as authoritative or binding.

Intellectual property

The FlowAgently platform, including content, logos, and code, is owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of messages you send, but grant us a license to process them to generate responses.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. You use chatbots at your own discretion.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. Access to specific chatbots may be restricted by us or by the chatbot owner who deployed them.
